The study describes the nontraditional services and innovative activities provided by public libraries by presenting the published literature on modern trends in public libraries and the classifications carried out by some specialized studies when presenting innovative activities in public libraries.

The study followed a content analysis methodology for the library’s social media accounts to identify the non-traditional services and innovative services carried out by the Manah Cultural Center Library during the study period from January to August 2024 AD. The services were then classified according to their type and placed in a systematic classification. Semi-structured interviews were also used with those responsible for planning and managing library activities and programs to study the return side of providing these services and activities in terms of finances and the number of library patrons.
The researcher recommends developing the study and introducing variables such as social responsibility and social innovation. He also recommended that private public libraries in the Sultanate of Oman follow the Manah Cultural Center Library as a model to improve their roles in community service and generate revenue that helps in their sustainability and continuity of services.

The study aimed to explore the practices of the Children's Public Library as an incubator for knowledge and innovation in the digital economy, and to monitor the challenges it faces. To achieve the study objectives, the qualitative descriptive approach (case study) was relied upon. A semi-structured interview was conducted with the study sample, which consisted of 4 female employees, a representative from the department (Administration, Information Services and Technical Services, Workshops and Events, Innovation Corner).
The results of the study revealed a number of practices adopted by the Children's Public Library in light of its orientation to enhance knowledge and innovation in the digital economy, namely: disseminating knowledge and providing access to it, implementing workshops and events, integrating advanced technologies, cooperation and community participation. While the challenges it faces were: technical challenges, human challenges, and societal challenges. The study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: enhancing investment in technological infrastructure, developing strong cybersecurity strategies, expanding access to digital resources, holding training courses for library workers, as well as the importance of integration with other electronic resources.

The study aimed to identify the effect of the organizational climate elements on knowledge sharing in the library of Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Sohar represented in administrative policies and practices, the organizational structure, technology and the external and internal environment by using the qualitative approach and applying the semi- Structured interview tool and the sample of study is 4 employees, the study concluded the organizational climate in the Sultan Qaboos Mosque Library in Sohar has positively effects of a high level of knowledge sharing, as the organizational structure is characterized by flexibility and a high level of communication, which provides an opportunity for knowledge sharing, and administrative policies and practices support the process of knowledge sharing through continuous stimulation, In addition, the library has technology that facilitates knowledge sharing between staff in the library as well as other libraries, and that the economic, health and cultural conditions have a clear impact on the library, but it tries to overcome them as much as possible.

With the rapid technological development, libraries seek to keep pace with developments in terms of creativity and innovation in their services to meet the changing needs of beneficiaries. The study aimed to highlight the role of creative activities in libraries affiliated with the Sultan Qaboos Higher Center for Culture and Science in serving society, the technological techniques used to activate those activities, and to know the most important obstacles to achieving them. The results of the study showed that there is awareness among library professionals of the concept of creative activities. There are different activities offered to different segments of society. Continuous training and keeping up with modern technologies is necessary to meet the changing needs of patrons and to ensure the survival of the library. There are some obstacles facing libraries.

The study used a qualitative approach because it fits well with this type of research, which aims to understand the phenomenon of interest and its importance to the community. The sample included several libraries at Sultan Qaboos University, and interviews were used to gather data from employees and administrators in different library departments. The study found that organizational innovation in the libraries focused on two main areas: developing creativity and innovation skills in library staff to help them become knowledge workers, and encouraging ongoing creativity. Applying knowledge management positively affected employees by helping them express their opinions freely, solve daily work problems, and predict issues before they arise. Knowledge management and organizational innovation also played essential roles in improving library services for current and future users. Based on these findings, the study recommended increasing focus on knowledge management and organizational creativity in the libraries to create a sustainable environment for innovation and improve service efficiency. It suggested directing knowledge management and organizational innovation to better serve the Sultan Qaboos University community. Finally, it recommended expanding the use of generative artificial intelligence, Internet of Things technologies, and big data, integrating them with knowledge management in the libraries.

Sheikh Said ben Ali al-Saqri (d. 1301 AH) was an influential figure in the public life of Oman in his time, in the scientific, political, and urban fields. He was an advisor to Imam Azzan ben Qais al-Busaidi (d. 1287 AH) and a financier of his state. He also founded the village of Izz in Al-Qabel and established its falaja. He also founded a mosque to teach the Qur'an and religious sciences, and supported it with endowments for teachers and learners.
One of his important monuments is his endowment of dozens of Omani books outside Oman in Oued M'zab, Algeria, in the hands of a group of scholars, including his friend Sheikh Ahmad ben Yousef Atfish (d. 1314 AH).
This research introduces this figure and reveals his roles in the field of educational endowment, especially the endowment of books, by tracing his manuscripts inside and outside Oman, with the aim of building a conceptualization of his “endowment library” project.
The research adopted the historical, inductive and analytical approach, and addressed the topic in four themes:
1.Introducing Sheikh Said Al-Saqri.
2.His contributions to public life.
3.His interest in books and stopping the Omani book.
4.Sheikh Al-Saqri's endowment library in Oued M'zab, Algeria.
