%X لقد كفلت قوانين الشريعة الإسلامية حق التنافس في الخيرات للذكور والإناث دون تمييز، ولدينا في تاريخ الأمة الإسلامية العديد من الصور المشرقة لإسهام المرأة  في تنمية الاقتصاد الاجتماعي- التضامني ممثلا في الوقف- من خلال الريادة في الإشراف على مؤسسة الوقف مثل إشراف أم المؤمنين حفصة -رضي الله عنها- على وقف عمر -رضي الله عنه- بعد وفاته حوالي (23 هـ) أو من خلال مبادرة إنشاء وقف فاطمة الفهري لمسجد / جامعة القرويين بفاس حوالي (859 م). وإن حضور المرأة في تاريخ العالم الإسلامي في القطاع الخيري عموما والوقفي منه خصوصا يزيد وينقص حسب التطور الفكري والثقافي والحضاري للمجتمعات الإسلامية.. الكلمات المفتاحية: : المرأة، التنمية، الاستدامة، الوقف، الاقتصاد الاجتماعي -التضامني ، القطاع غير الربحي، الريادة، التمكين.. This research paper addresses the role of women in the development and enhancement of the socio-economic sphere within the framework of Islamic Sharia laws. Women contribute efficiently and distinctively to various domains of charitable activities and endowments. The research sheds light on some shining examples from the history of the Islamic nation that highlight women's leadership and management roles in endowment institutions. For instance, it mentions the supervision of Umm al-Mu'minin Hafsah - may Allah be pleased with her - over the endowment of Umar - may Allah be pleased with him - after his passing, as well as her contribution to the establishment of the Fatimah al-Fihri Endowment for the Qarawiyyin Mosque/University in Fez around 859 CE. The paper indicates that the presence of women in the waqf and charitable sector reflects the intellectual, cultural, and civilizational development of Islamic societies.
