abstract="الاهتمام والايمان بعلاج الطب البيطري التقليدي لدى مربي الإبل يقود الباحث الى محاولة توثيق ومعرفة بعض التفاصيل عن نشأته وممارسته وطريقة تنفيذه والامراض التي يستهدفها ومع وجود مربي حيوانات يسعون إلى دمج الرعاية غير التقليدية (الطب البيطري الحديث) مع العلاج الشعبي مما يودي الى امكانية ظهور مصطلح الطب البيطري البديل كاسم حديث ومقبول بين الأوساط العلمية البيطرية. تم اخذ مربي الابل من البيئة العمانية  كعينة بحكم شيوع هذا النوع من العلاج بينهم حيث تهدف هذه الدراسة الى توثيق وتتبع نشاءة العلاج بالطب البيطري التقليدي وبالتحديد  عند مربي الابل في سلطنة عمان وذلك من خلال معرفة  استخدامات الطب الشعبي التقليدي من أنواع العلاج المستخدم والامراض التي تستهدفها ومدى انتشاره لدى مربي الابل ولكن توجد معضلة توثيق هذه الممارسة التقليدية بسبب غياب المستندات المرجعية والتقييم العلمي للطب البيطري التقليدي يقودنا الى محاولة صياغة و توظيف طرق بديلة لجمع البيانات هدفها  انشاء قاعدة بيانات يكون مصدرها مربي الابل والمعالجين التقليديين والمؤسسات المستفيدة من الخدمات البيطرية التقليدية  بحيث يساعد على  إقامة مراجعة منهجية شاملة للعلاج الشعبي المستخدم  وذلك لمعرفة  طرق والأساليب التقليدية المحلية المستخدمة في معالجة  الابل من حيث أنواع الكي والامراض المستهدفة لعلاجها وهل هي خبرات فردية او جماعية وفي نفس الوقت  البحث. الكلمات المفتاحية: الطب البيطري التقليدي الطب البيطري الحديث أصحاب الإبل مربي الحيوانات التراث. The dromedary camel (Camelus dromedarius) plays an important role in the social and economic life of the nomadic pastoral communities scattered across the Middle East and Northern Africa. The traditional veterinary treatment in camel are highly encouraged and appreciated in the members of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries practically among Omani breeder’s camels in Sultanate of Oman. Despite practices of traditional medicine are noted among animals breeders especially camel owners however absence of properly documented and scientifically evaluated of this kind of treatments could lead to the possibility of the loss of this part of the rich culture and tradition in the future and made it confined only between breeders. Additionally, it has led also to traditional veterinary medicine lacks a formal evaluation system, which may impacted negatively the accuracy of treatment, and its value in camels. Therefore, this paper aims to document and scientifically evaluate traditional veterinary medicine bases on Omani camel breeder’s data. To do this, a data collection strategy was implemented to search online for information related to veterinary medicine and traditional treatment. Data was also collected from governing bodies, and from my personal observations. After extracting the data, all types of traditional veterinary medicine were documented..
