N2  - تحوي سلطنة عُمان على تنوع إحيائي نباتي يصل إلى أكثر من 1400 نوع. وهناك في حدود 1000 نوع نباتي لها أهمية اقتصادية واجتماعية ومنها النباتات الطبية. التنوع الاحيائي للنباتات الطبية عالي في محافظة ظفار، وولاية الجبل الأخضر، وجبل بني جابر بولاية صور ومحافظة مسندم، وتبين الدراسة بأن عمليات الجمع والحفظ خارج الموطن الطبيعي في بنوك الجينات على هيئة بذور أو بنوك حقلية من المهم استكمالها من قبل الجهات المختصة. وبالنسبة للحفظ في الموطن الأصلي، فتعتبر محمية الجبل الأخضر للمناظر الطبيعية في الشمال ومحمية جبل سمحان في الجنوب هي من أكثر المناطق أهمية للحفظ في الموطن الأصلي. النباتات الطبية لها أهمية كبيرة جدا تقليديا وايضا في وقتنا الراهن من حيث إمكانية تطوير وتتجير منتجات للسوق المحلي والاقليمي والعالمي من التنوع الاحيائي النباتي الطبي والذي يصل إلى أكثر من 440 نوعا في سلطنة عُمان.. الكلمات المفتاحية: النباتات الطبية العُمانية تنوع النباتات الطبية  حفظ الموارد الوراثية للنباتات الطبية  مهددات على النباتات الطبية  تتجير النباتات الطبية. The Sultanate Oman contains a plant biodiversity of more than 1400 species. There are 1,000 plant species of economic and social importance, including medicinal plants. The biodiversity of medicinal plants is high in the governorate of Dhofar, Willayat Jabal Al-Akhdar, Jabal Bani Jaber in Willaya Sur and Musandam Governorate, and the studies showed that the collection and conservation processes outside the natural habitat in genebanks in the form of seeds or field gene banks are important to complete by the competent authorities. For conservation in the original habitat, the Jabal Akhdar Landscape Reserve in the north and the Jabal Samhan Reserve in the south are two of the most important areas for conservation in the original habitat.  Medicinal plants are of great importance traditionally and also at the present time in terms of the possibility of developing and commercializing products for the local, regional and global market of medicinal plant biodiversity, which amounts to more than 440 species..
