N2  - مارس العمانيون النشاط الزراعي منذ ما قبل الميلاد -كما أثبتت ذلك الدراسات الأثرية- متحَدّين بذلك واقع مناخ بلادهم الصعب وتضاريسها الوعرة، التي تعدُّ عوائق حقيقية أمام هذا النشاط، ومع ذلك فقد استمر الإنسان العماني يزاول هذا النشاط قرونا طويلة؛ كوّنت لديه ثقافة راسخة، وخبرة واسعة في التعامل مع مختلف المزروعات، كانت حصيلة تجاربه الفلاحية عبر الزمن.  هدفت هذه الورقة إلى تتبع الممارسات العلمية التي اتبعها العمانيون في مجال فلاحة النخلة والعناية بها في الفترة من القرن (3-6 هـ / 9-12 م)، وذلك بالإجابة عن السؤال: هل كان لدى العمانيين ممارسات علمية صحيحة في فلاحة النخلة في الفترة من القرن (3-6هـ/9-12م)؟ اتبعت الورقة المنهج الاستقرائي التحليلي؛ لتتبع النصوص المتاحة في المصادر الفقهية المتعلقة بفلاحة النخلة، وتحليلها ومقارنتها مع الممارسات العلمية الحديثة في رعاية النخلة. واتبعت أيضًا المنهج التاريخي الوصفي عند مناقشة الإطار الزمني للدراسة، وقد توصلت الورقة إلى عدة استنتاجات، منها: أن العمانيين قدَّموا ممارسات علمية صحيحة في فلاحة النخلة بدءاً من تهيئة الأرض، وطرائق الفسل، والعناية بالنخلة نفسها، ورعاية ثمارها، وهي ممارسات أثبتها العلم حديثا. وتوصي الورقة بتوجيه مزيد من الدراسات نحو المصادر العمانية؛ لاستخلاص الممارسات العلمية في النشاط الزراعي، والعمل على تطويرها وتوظيفها؛ كونها خلاصة تجربة مرت عليها مئات السنين.. الكلمات المفتاحية: النخلة، الفلاحة، الأرض الزراعية. As evidenced by archaeological studies, Omanis have practiced agricultural activity since prehistoric times, challenging their country's obstructive climate and terrain. The agricultural activity in Oman continued for centuries, which resulted in a culture of dealing with various crops and therefore an extensive experience that was the outcome of agricultural activities over time. This paper aims to trace the scientific practices followed by Omanis in the field of palm cultivation and care in the 3rd–6th Hijri centuries (9th–12th AD centuries). It answers this question: Did Omanis follow scientific palm cultivation practices in the 3rd–6th Hijri centuries (9th–12th AD centuries)? The paper follows the inductive-analytical approach to track the texts available in the jurisprudential sources related to palm cultivation. It also analyzes and compares them to scientific practices recently used in palm care. The researcher follows the descriptive historical approach to discuss the study’s timeframe.  The paper reached several conclusions, including that Omanis presented correct scientific practices in palm cultivation, starting with preparing the land, methods of seeding, taking care of the palm itself and its fruits, which are practices that have been scientifically demonstrated. The paper recommends directing more studies towards Omani sources to extract scientific practices in agricultural activity and working on developing. Keywords: Palm, agriculture, agricultural land.
