%X إن علاقة العمانيين بالملاحة البحرية علاقة قديمة، تعود إلى فترة ما قبل الميلاد، زاولوا خلالها العديد من الأنشطة البحرية في التجارة الخارجية، والغوص والنقل، وصيد الأسماك، وصناعة السفن، كما أبحروا خلال جميع بحار المحيط الهندي، وخاصة الغربية منها، كالبحر الأحمر. وقد اهتم العمانيون بتدوين ملاحظاتهم وتجاربهم، فظهرت علوم البحار عند العمانيين، الذين توارثوها أبًا عن جد، حتى وصلت إلى أرقى مراحلها عند أحمد بن ماجد السعدي، الذي وضع أسس علوم البحار، وجاء بعده عدد من النواخذة العمانيين، الذين طوَّرُوا كثيرًا من المفاهيم والعمليات الرياضية والفكرية في مجال العلوم البحرية.. الكلمات المفتاحية: عمان، علوم، قواعد رياضية، مساج، عملات. Introduction of the study: The relationship of the Omanis with marine navigation is an ancient one dating back to the BC period, during which they practiced many marine activities in foreign trade, diving, transport, fishing and shipbuilding, and they also sailed through all the seas of the Indian Ocean, especially the western ones, such as the Red Sea. It was the Omanis who were interested in writing down their observations and experiences, so marine science appeared among the Omanis, who inherited it from father to grandfather until it reached its highest stage with Ahmed bin Majid Al Saadi, who laid the foundations of marine sciences.
