%X يُعدّ التاريخ البحري الملاحي العُماني من أكثر الجوانب التي يجب أن تعطي اهتمام من قبل الباحثين والمهتمين بالتاريخ العماني؛ لأنّ العمانيين أمة بحريّة، وتاريخ عُمان وحضارتها مرتبطة بالإرث البحري والملاحي بالمقام الأول. تهدف  هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على أثر البحّارة العُمانيين في تطوير المنهجية العلمية للملاحة البحرية، وذلك في مجال عمارة السفن، واكتشاف المسارات الملاحية، والاهتمام بمجموعة متنوعة من العلوم المرتبطة بالملاحة البحرية مثل علم الفلك والجغرافيا. ولقد كان للعمانيين أثر كبير في تأليف مجموعة واسعة من المؤلفات في مجال العلوم البحرية، وكذلك الصناعات المرتبطة بالملاحة البحرية. اتبعت هذه الدراسة المنهج التاريخي وتوصلت إلى مجموعة من النتائج منها: دور البحارة العمانيين في إرساء أسس علم الملاحة البحري، والتأليف البحري، واكتشاف المسارات الملاحية البحرية، وتطوير عمارة السفن، ومساهمة العمانيين في مساعدة الأمم الأخرى في اكتشاف المسارات الملاحية البحرية، وتطوير بناء السفن، واكتشاف العلاقات بين علم الملاحة وعلم الفلك وعلم الجغرافيا. كذلك كان للعمانيين إسهام كبير في تطوير التأليف في مجال الملاحة البحرية من حيث إخراج مجموعة متنوعة من الكتب والدراسات التي كان لها دور كبير في تأسيس منهجية علمية للعلوم البحرية.. الكلمات المفتاحية: الملاحة البحرية، سنن البحر، المسارات الملاحية، أنواع السفن، الثقافة الملاحية. The Omani maritime history is one of the most important aspects to which researchers and those who are interested in the Omani history should give attention because, Oman is a maritime nation, and its history and civilization are associated with maritime cultural heritage in the first place. This study aims to highlight the impact of the Omani sailors in developing the scientific methods in marine navigation, shipbuilding, discovering maritime navigational paths, paying attention to astronomy and geography. The Omanis have had a great influence in writing down a wide range of literature in the field of marine sciences and marine navigation-related industries. The study adopts the historical approach. It reachs a set of results related to the role of the Omani sailors in establishing the foundations of marine sciences, writing down maritime literature, discovering maritime navigational paths, developing shipbuilding, and highlighting the Omani’s contribution to helping other nations discover maritime navigational paths, develop shipbuilding, and discover the relationships among navigation science, astronomy and geography. Besides, Omanis contributed greatly to developing the written literature in the field of marine navigation, in terms of producing a variety of books and conducting various studies which have a major role in establishing a scientific.
