N2  - تعود العلاقات بين عمان وشرق إفريقيا إلى القرن الثاني الميلادي، حيث استقر العمانيون على امتداد الساحل الشرقي لأفريقيا؛ ويعزى ذلك إلى الكثير من العوامل التي ساعدت العمانيون للوصول إلى شرق إفريقيا، منها الظروف المناخية المتمثلة في هبوب الرياح الموسمية وكذلك القوة البحرية والأسطول الضخم في عهد السيد سعيد بن سلطان. كان اتصال العمانيين بشرق أفريقيا بهدف التجارة وكذلك عمليات تبادل السلع والبضائع المختلفة، ولكن لاحقاً توسعت العلاقات بين عمان وشرق إفريقيا في فترة حكم السيد سعيد بن سلطان لتشمل الكثير من المجالات المختلفة من أهمها الجانب الحضاري بمختلف مجالاته، وذلك مع ظهور الإسلام وتفوق العمانيون في الملاحة البحرية لشرق إفريقيا، فقد ساهم كل ذلك في ترسيخ العلاقات بين عمان وشرق إفريقيا.. الكلمات المفتاحية: عُمان، شرق أفريقيا، سعيد بن سلطان، حضاري. Relations between Oman and East Africa go back to the second century AD, when the Omanis settled along the eastern coast of Africa. This is due to many factors that helped the Omanis reach East Africa, including the climatic conditions represented by the strong monsoon winds, as well as the naval power and huge fleet during the reign of Sayyid Saeed bin Sultan. The Omanis’ contact with East Africa was for the purpose of trade, as well as the exchange of various goods and commodities, but later relations between Oman and East Africa expanded during the reign of Sayyid Said bin Sultan to include many different fields, the most important of which was the cultural aspect in its various fields, with the emergence of Islam and the superiority of the Omanis in maritime navigation.
