abstract="يهدف هذا البحث إلى تسليط الضوء على شخصّية أبي عبيدة الصغير، وإجلاء فكرها ومقاربته بالواقع المعاصر؛ لأنّ من أهم مقومات إنجاح خطط العمل والعلم هي توظيف التاريخ في الواقع المعيش، لا التغني به والوقوف على أطلاله، وهنا تكمن أهميّة هذا البحث، في إبراز فكر أبي عبيدة وجعلها حاضرة في عالم اليوم ومواكبته لعصر العولمة.  تنطلق مشكلة البحث بالسؤال عن شخصية أبي عبيدة الصغير نسبًا وعلمًا؟ والبحث عن علاقته بالصين؟ كذلك البحث عن المصادر والمراجع التي تناولته بالبحث والتقصّي، تحت عنوان موسوم بـ(شخصيّة عبد الله بن القاسم (أبوعبيدة الصغير) بين الأثريّة والمعاصرة) مقسمًا ذلك إلى محوريين اثنين؛ الأول يبحث في السيرة الذاتية لأبي عبيدة، والثاني في سماته الشخصيّة التي جمعت بين الأثريّة والمعاصرة.. الكلمات المفتاحية: (أبو عبيدة الصغير ـ عُمان ـ الصين ـ الأثريّة – المعاصرة). This research aims to shed light on the personality of Abu Ubaidah Al-Saghir, and clarify his intellect and approach to contemporary reality. as one of the important factors for the success of work and science plans is the employment of history in the current times, not just enriching it and standing on its ruins, thus lies the importance of this research, in highlighting the intellect of Abu Ubaidah and making it present in today's world and keeping pace with the era of globalization  The research problem begins by asking about the personality of Abu Ubaidah Al-Saghir, his lineage, education, and his relationship with China, As well as searching for the sources and references that researched and investigated him, under the title (The Personality of Abu Ubaidah Abdullah Al-Saghir Between Archaeological and Contemporary), dividing that into two axes; The first discusses the biography of Abu Ubaidah, while the second examines his characteristics that combine archaeological and contemporary..
